Acknowledging that you are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction is the first step in battling it. We understand that your journey toward a successful recovery won’t be easy. However, with guidance from Evergreen Family Oriented Tree, Inc. in New Haven, Connecticut, you no longer have to be alone in overcoming the challenges you face every day.


Aside from helping people struggling with addiction, we offer assistance to formerly incarcerated individuals and people experiencing homelessness. About Our Organization 

Evergreen Family Oriented Tree, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) faith-based non-denomination nonprofit organization in New Haven, Connecticut. We have been helping people who are struggling with addiction, homelessness, and more 2002.

Meet Our Founder 

We are guided by Mrs. Pamela Allen, the founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and President of Evergreen Family Oriented Tree, Inc. She was born in the Bronx, New York on September 3, 1960 but grew up in New Haven, Connecticut.  Mrs. Pamela Allen has been happily married for more than 27 years.  She has two children and four grandchildren whom she dearly loves.

She is dedicated to fostering participants’ recovery and independence.  Since 2000, she has been involved with the Criminal Justice System for individuals who struggle with addiction and/or at risk of being involved with the Criminal Justice System.


Mrs. Pamela Allen has been sober for more than 22 years. At present, she coordinates four sober living houses in New Haven, Connecticut for men and women ages 18 years and older. 

Work Experience 

  • A Former Employee of Yale University in New Haven in the Medical Field for 10 Years
  • The Former Co-Chair for the Greater New Haven Reentry Roundtable for 10 Years
  • The Ministry Leader for the Springs of Life-Giving Water Church (Rendering Celebrating Recovery Workshops) for More Than 9 Years
  • The Coordinator Subcontractor for the City of New Haven Youth@Work Summer/Winter Employment/Entrepreneurship Training
  • The Owner of a Boost Mobile Retail Store for More Than 7 Years 

Mission Statement 

Our mission is to continue to help reduce recidivism among addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. We aim to provide resources for education and employment to those who are marginal and have low resources.
